The automatic system for tray stacking, which mates with the trays disinfector, avoids human intervention after the disinfection process optimising operative time and minimising the risk of ulterior germ contamination. The system automatically places the trays in trolleys for distribution and subsequent use.
As the study carried out by the Nottingham University and the National Health Institute of Finland shows, the plastic trays used at passenger security checkpoints in airports contain the highest level of pathogens. The pandemic emergency due to the COVID-19 caused by the SARS COV-2 and other possible health emergencies in the future creates a need to ensure a safe environment for air transport passengers. The trays disinfector and stacker are the answer to that need.
