Unbeknownst to him, that would be the first step that would change the history of fashion. Almost 3 decades later, Ortega opened his first #ZARA store, pioneering Fast Fashion and creating one of the largest empires in the world, INDITEX.<\/p><p>Don Amancio&#8217;s business philosophy has always been to offer modern design garments at low costs. To achieve this, he implemented visionary measures. This discreet and quiet genius created his own formula for success:<\/p><ul><li>He bet on speed. He created the Fast Fashion model, with a comprehensive, agile and flexible system that allowed him to design, produce and distribute garments in less than 2 weeks. Thus, ZARA was able to respond in real time to market demands, allowing the customer to acquire trendy garments, without spending a fortune.<\/li><li>Designed an innovative logistics model . He devised a system to produce small quantities of the same garment, to minimize stock and maintain rapid inventory turnover. Each distribution center is strategically located to supply the ZARA store anywhere on the planet in record time.<\/li><li>It adopted a silent marketing strategy, without major advertising campaigns. Each ZARA store began to open its doors in the most exclusive shopping areas of the big cities, in premium locations with extensive surface areas. The in-store experience and huge window displays became its best marketing.<\/li><li>It understood the importance of affordable exclusivity. It maintained the policy of low stock of each garment. This creates a sense of urgency in consumers, with the mantra \u201cbuy now, before it&#8217;s sold out\u201d. ZARA, the flagship brand of the #INDITEX group, became a constant parade of garments with a modern, urban and accessible style.<\/li><\/ul><p>Amancio Ortega&#8217;s mastermind built more than an empire, he accelerated the pace of fashion and completely transformed the sector.
